Paradise Preparatory School has been in existence since 1969 and is one of the leading schools in Westmoreland. Our students range in age from 2 to 12 years old.  At present we have a student population of two hundred and fifty (250). We truly believe that each child should be given a fair chance to learn so our dedicated staff ensures that each child is safe, nurtured and loved as well as being academically stimulated. In addition, our students partake in extra –curricula activities/clubs geared at their holistic development.

These include Cub Scouts, Brownies, 4-H Club, Math & Spanish clubs, Speech &Drama, Sports club, swimming, karate as well as a dynamic marching band. 

The school also has a rich Information Technology program and has an excellent pass rate in the Grade Three Diagnostic Test, the Grade Four Literacy & Numeracy Exams as well as the Grade Six Achievement Test.

It is the school’s mandate that each child leaving the institution on completion of Grade Six be able to function effectively at the secondary level. We also encourage parent/teacher conferencing in order for parents to be aware of the strengths and weaknesses of their children. Parents are informed of the school’s scheduled activities through newsletters and a calendar of events at the beginning of each term.
